We're Raising Funds for The National Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation of Canada

Jacquelyn WALTERS

If you're lucky, you have a wildlife rehabber in your community, a centre within driving distance, a local veterinarian or friendly pet shop who can direct you to someone with the skill to rehabilitate that injured or orphaned bird, squirrel, chipmunk or other urban wildlife you've found. There a hundreds across Canada who do this work for free, but the costs are high.

It can cost upwards of $100 per rescue to raise to release. The greatest cost is in purchasing the appropriate infant formula for small mammals, essential to ensure proper growth and development to prepare them for release back into the wild.

Out of respect for the natural world, our Keepsake Vases were designed to be reused, refilled and repurposed. We also ensured that our decorative process eliminated the harsh chemicals associated with traditional etching. In keeping with this spirit, we have committed 25% of all online sales to the National Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation of Canada. To learn more about their mission visit www.nwrfcanada.org.

If you include the name of the recipient in the Notes area at check-out, we will add a thank you note to let them know their gift will keep on giving. Thank you for your support!
